René and I have just returned from INSOL's conference in Singapore. The conference was attended by 865 delegates from 90 different jurisdictions. Please visit the Insol Singapore 2019 page for the report-back.

Planning for SARIPA's Annual Conference

Preparation has commenced for our annual SARIPA conference which, will take place at Zimbali, KZN on 14 and 15 November 2019. Haroon and I, as 2019's Co-chairs, together with our technical committee, are hard at work preparing topics for the November Zimbali conference. If anyone has issues or topics they would want us to deal with at the Zimbali conference, please send Angela your ideas and thoughts by email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and we will certainly try to include them in the conference. I can assure you that the SARIPA conference in November will be rich in content and not to be missed!

Communicating with You

As we grow as an organisation, we intend to continue to provide you with updates on cutting edge issues involving and affecting what we do each and every day. These will continue to be sent to you on an ongoing basis. Please, when you have time, look at our website as often as possible. We intend to continue to upload content/data/articles/practice notes so that you, as members, are constantly engaged and have access to a knowledge base that is truly meaningful.

Looking to the Future

The board of SARIPA is in the process of developing our strategy for 2021… watch this space! As we grow and continue to be the most relevant South African insolvency restructuring organisation, we aim to become a stand-out MA of INSOL International.
