Statistics of Liquidations and Insolvencies

The total number of liquidations decreased by 3,7% in the three months ended October 2019 compared with the three months ended October 2018. A year-on-year decrease of 9,2% was recorded in October 2019.
The total number of liquidations increased by 8,0% in the first ten months of 2019 compared with the first ten months of 2018.
The estimated number of insolvencies increased by 39,9% in the third quarter of 2019 compared with the third quarter of 2018. A 13,5% increase was estimated in September 2019 compared with September 2018.
Seasonally adjusted insolvencies decreased by 14,3% in September 2019 compared with August 2019. This followed month-on-month changes of -11,4% in August 2019 and 32,9% in July 2019.
