Participation in Research Project

IP Members,

You are invited to take part in a research project by completing an anonymous, online survey. The research project is titled: A Cross-Jurisdictional Comparison of the Use of Commercial Litigation Funding in Insolvency and is funded by an INSOL International research grant.

You have been invited because of your professional experience in the context of insolvency/external administration. Your contact details were obtained from the INSOL International membership list.

The ethical aspects of this research project have been approved by

  • Australia: The Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) of the University of South Australia as required by the Australian government research requirements, specified in the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007 - updated 2018). This statement has been developed to protect the interests of people who agree to participate in human research studies.
  • Canada: The University of Calgary Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board has approved this study (REB21-1005)
  • New Zealand: The Human Ethics Committee at the University of Canterbury
  • Singapore: Singapore Management University, Institutional Review Board has approved this study (IRB-21-195-E064(1121))
  • South Africa: University of Pretoria Ethics Committee
  • United States of America: The IRB at the University of Illinois Chicago

and endorsed by the other institutions involved in this project based on ethics approval obtained at the lead institution, University of South Australia, Australia.

The anonymous, online survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and can be accessed here.
