Judgment: Standard Bank v Swartz & Others

Attached an SCA judgment handed down on the 22nd of March 2024. This is an appeal from the Western Cape High Court and concerns three related matters.

The Court held inter alia that the compromise between the parties which had been made an order of the High Court was final, there was no longer a lis between the parties.

The Court a quo had no jurisdiction to ignore the consent order. The appeal was upheld with costs.
