Judgment: S J Kalianjee v Master of the High Court,Johannesburg & Others

Attached a judgement handed down on the 29th of August 2024 by De Villiers AJ.

Three applications were before the Court, the first an application to review, correct and set aside two decisions of the Master of the High Court, Johannesburg, secondly a counter application issued by the second respondent seeking an order declaring that the applicant be disqualified from holding office as a trustee and thirdly an application to intervene.

The Master's decision to remove the applicant from two entities was set aside, the matter was remitted to the Master to consider the totality of the complaints and address them in a lawful, rational and procedurally fair way.
