Judgment: E M Motala v the Chief Master

The applicant, Mr Motala, brought an application against the Chief Master for an order against the respondent to take all necessary steps to enrol Mr Motala on the National List of Insolvency Practitioners.

The matter was defended and the Court concluded that the Chief Master's decision not to accept the recommendation of the Insolvency Working Group remained valid and binding until set aside by the Court.

The application was dismissed with costs.
