The session will cover issues such as the deliberations that directors of financially distressed companies will have to consider when faced with having to trade a company in financially distressed situations.

Discussion will include the decision tree for directors in deciding to file or not to file for rescue and the various options set out in the Companies Act, 2008; issues relevant to the personal liability of directors and the practical corrective measures that can be taken by directors in order to avoid fall out in a distressed situation.
